REGRA PLAST spol. s.r.o
The company REGRA PLAST spol. s ro, founded in 1999, is a manufacturing company withaiming at production from plastics. The company operates a production plant located in the village of Obora u Loun, and its main product is EUREKO roofing. The operation undergoes continuous improvement andby expanding production, which is required by the ever-increasing popularity of EUREKO coverings in the domestic marketand the foreign market.
EUREKO roofing
Plastic roof coverings produced since 2000 under the name EUREKO are products made from polyolefins (polypropylene and polyethylene). These raw materials are obtained by high-quality separation of waste plastics produced mainly in the automotive industry. All plastics used in production at REGRA PLAST spol. s ro are intended for applications with long-term use (plastic parts of car interiors, bumpers, furniture parts) even before being reworked into coverings. Such plastics, which have already been treated for outdoor use, are refined again with dyes, UV stabilizers and fillers during the production of coverings, so that the customer receives a product that has been treated as well as possible against the long-term effects of the weather. EUREKO coverings are guaranteed for 30 years (see warranty card).

The main goal of the presented project is to reduce the energy intensity of the production process of REGRA PLAST spol. s ro, thanks to the implementation of energy measures related to reducing the energy demand/increasing the energy efficiency of production and technological processes, when 2 pcs of energy-intensive injection presses in the production of plastic products will be replaced.

The main goal of the presented project is the development of cooperation between the business and research spheres, namely in the area of completing the development of a new type of plastic roofing product intended for the implementation of so-called sloping green roofs and its subsequent certification and issuance of a European Technical Assessment (ETA) and assessment and verification of technical properties of a construction product with high technical and utility parameters.

The main goal of the project is therefore the installation of a PV plant with a capacity of 202.95 kWp without energy storage at the company's operational facilities, which will enable the company to cover part of its electricity consumption with the help of renewable sources.
